Curated by Janaina Damaceno and Iliriana Fontoura Rodriges, with assistance from Maria Luiza Meneses, the 2025 Instituto Moreira Salles São Paulo (IMS-SP) exhibition, Gordon Parks - America Is Me is the first retrospective of Parks' works in Brazil and largest-ever exhibition of his art in Latin America.
Alongside Gordon's photos from the Gordon Parks Foundation's archive, the exhibition included 5 photographs by Vantoen Pereira Jr. of Gordon during his 2000 visit to Rio de Janeiro. Those were also included in the exhibition's book.
The 2025 exhibition at the Mudeu de Arte do Rio (MAR), Dança Barbot! showcases the life and contributions of the Afro-Brazilian dancer and choreographer Rubens Barbot (1949-2022) to Brazilian contemporary dance.
In the exhibition, photographs from two of Vantoen's photo shoots were included: "Orishas", shot during the showing "O Reino de outro mundo - Orixás" (Kingdom from another world - Orishas), and another named "Os Ilusionistas" (The Illusionists)
Vantoen worked as a curator advisor for the 2026 exhibition at Casa Firjan Arqueiros na espiral do tempo – fotografia brasileira contemporânea (Archers in the Spiral of Time - Brazilian Contemporary Photography).
