Zózimo Bulbul

Documentary that intends to tell the story of Zozimo Bulbul through the intimate lens of his nephew Vantoen Pereira Jr. The story's focus won’t be just his professional trajectory, but also his political and activist involvement as an artist in several historical moments in Brazil, often as the only black person. It also intends to tell the story of a black family living in Zona Sul in Rio de Janeiro.

The movie will be a tribute to a son, a brother, an uncle, and a husband. And about a political activist, visual artist, and the father of Brazilian Black Cinema.
